The new report (May 2012) from Which? questioning why sandwich retailers do not give clearer nutritional information to consumers does raise some questions over the probity of their survey.
Indeed, it does appear to be little more than an excuse for taking advantage of British Sandwich Week to publicise their magazine, particularly given that they have had to delve back to 1995 to base their consumer attitudes around.
Furthermore, they have not compared like for like products, as no two sandwiches have exactly the same ingredients.
The 'Get up and Go' supplement in the 11th May 2012 edition of the Guardian is all about the 250th Anniversary of the sandwich ahead of British Sandwich Week.
